Great post Hobo. Not sure if we have ever had anyone on the AA list in the D1 era.

Dahlman was honorable mention AA. So was Karl Cochran.

An article about the increase of 3-point shooting in college basketball with several mentions of Fletcher

Fletcher's biggest non-Wofford fan making the case why he should be drafted in the first round

Hobo actually you can right click and select 'Translate to English'. It takes a few seconds but it eventually translates.
Also once when I opened the article a 'drop down box' in the upper right asks something like 'Do you want to translate this article ?' So you could do either one

Thanks! I was actually trying to make joke about how cool it is that there's an article in French about Wofford! Maybe new recruiting territory?!

good idea. Yes the French certainly have very talented athletes for lots of sports. I would not have any problem recruiting French players. Thanks for posting

NBA Combine happening this weekend...came across this post/highlight clip. Will be interesting to see if Fletcher (aka "#1 Sleeper Pick") is selected next month.

So is there a chance Fletch may not return to Wofford for his senior season? Of course I would be thrilled for Fletch and thrilled that Wofford had a guy in the NBA, but you have to admit that would be devastating to our NCCA tourney hopes.

I actually think we would be okay without Fletcher. Right now we are very shooter heavy in a shooter-heavy conference. We need to find a great defender to step up in the starting line-up. We may have a few prospects on the team who can do that. I think Nathan Hoover could play the Fletcher position pretty well. Basically, what we would lose with Fletcher we would make up with balance and defense *in my opinion*

Unless someone talked Fletcher into leaving Wofford to play in Europe or whatever they call the D League now, I don't see him playing elsewhere. It's just not realistic to think otherwise. The truth is that there were one and maybe two other SoCon guards that were better this year. We love Fletcher, but there are so many skills other than shooting in the League that are important.
What we need is someone to fill that role that Derrick Brooks played so well when healthy.
Once again we graduated our two basketball seniors today. Next year we will have a bunch of seniors on our team. This should be a year of lots of wins and lots of fun.
