Austin Peay

Tonight we take on the Governors of Austin Peay in our only non-conference D1 home game of the season (something I hope the JRIS changes). We are without a D1 win so far, but I think being at home in this one affords us a great chance to get off the snide. We need this game badly. To be fair, our young team has played a tough schedule and have had some tough breaks in a few close games, but we need this one for confidence and momentum. We must take advantage of our home games and protect our house.

Anyone know why this isn't on the Socon Digital Network? Maybe because the student camera operators are taking exams. That's the only reason I can really think of.

96-77 final. Home sweet home! Perhaps all those tough road games paid dividends for these youngsters. Hopefully we can carry this positive momentum into our next game at Coastal Carolina and then on into the SoCon schedule when the games really count. Great game by Ryan Sawvell. I thought Cam Jackson and Dishon Lowery were impressive in the post. BTW, the Roku is such a cool gadget!

@youngterrier

Unfortunately this was our final men's basketball game on YouTube. This was still mainly a student production, heck Tyler Vaughn was on the main game camera that you were all watching. YouTube was chosen as an experiment for games off of the SoCon Digital Network. The rest of the men's basketball season will be streamed on ESPN3 like football was, with the exception of ETSU which will be linear on ASN and streaming on SoCon Digital Network.

I thought the production for TV for Terrier games (whether on YouTube, Socon DN, or ESPN 3) has been amazing and has certainly improved over the past couple years. Definitely grateful to you all for keeping us Terrier fans outside of Spartanburg in the loop for Terrier basketball.

@Terrier 13 - Not a problem. We do about 100 live streams a year with mostly all students. This year we started 20 ESPN3 events, and that number will grow over the years to come. - Baseball will be back on the Digital Network this year and will have radio broadcast for the home games as well. For those of you who like baseball in the area, you can sit and listen to the game (about an 8 second delay, but not as bad as video)

Alyse has done a fine job as the student on air interviewer. In addition, she is on the Volleyball team that is on a roll. She will look back at a number of successes at Wofford. I hope she has a great time in Spain this spring and comes back to walk across the stage in front of Old Main in May.
