They are 7-9 but have played many good teams close, and will certainly be ready for us at their place (which is always a hard place to play).

On ESPN3 at 6 p.m.

From watching the first half it looks like to me that the keydets are committing more fouls than are being called. Or am I just biased ? I am only an average bball guy and so I am not sure how to judge contact when it is a close call. Some of the contact is easy to call but others are not so easy. So what do my fellow Terriers think ? Even Mark and Thom seemed to think that the officials were missing some fouls.

The Terriers are up 35-29 at the half, and Citadel hit a desperation three at the buzzer that banked in. Still too many turnovers but out-rebounding the Bulldogs 24-13. Neumann has 9 of those. I wonder what his career high is

The officiating has been incredibly inconsistent. The SoCon has to do better with the quality of officials because it was atrocious tonight.

Forgot it was an early start and missed it. Tuned in just after it was over. Stats are very telling. Too many foul calls must have created a game with no flow. Looks like Spencer, Garcia and CJ played well. True that any road win is good. Two toughies coming and we need to grab at least one. Two out of two on the road is great, no matter what.

Nineteen turnovers is way too many. But we heavily out rebounded them 42-23. The coaches know better than we, but it seems with our depth we could sporadically put some full court pressure on the other team, to counter some of the pressure applied to us. http://woffordterriers.com/boxscore.asp ... ll&id=3312

Brooks and Neumann played well tonight. Magee too.

IMO, Sawvell needs to play more minutes. He solid, experienced and doesn't seem to get rattled under pressure. Didn't see the game last night but the last two games it seemed as soon as he got in a little groove they took him out. Got to fix the turnover numbers.

Was painful to watch the last 6-7 minutes last night. Second half must have taken 90-100 minutes. There was a foul on every possession. Interestingly, they allowed El Cid to bump all they wanted on the press but if we contested a drive to the basket it was automatic. Still, a win is a win. I am still disheartened about how poorly we handle the full court press. Its not like we don't see it enough. VMI, ETSU, Samford, Citadel, Chatty all run this to some degree and we consistently are in the high teens in TOs against these teams. Gotta shore that up or we are looking at an early exit in the tourney. Fix it, and we could find ourselves back in the dance.

Eric is an excellent PG, but Brad Loesing broke presses better. Brooks is getting better at it.
