Need to get a W here and build some confidence and momentum. Overstating the obvious but if this team is to be successful they need to believe they can win every game in the SOCON. We have the talent to be a good team. Hope they start playing like one. UNCG W is a good start.

The end of this game is awful. The Terriers have turned it over 4 or 5 times in a row after the last TV timeout. Up by 6 with 1:24 left after Garcia finally got fouled going to the basket. Spencer has fouled out.

Terriers win 65-61. Last four minutes were miserable but we hold on for the "W"! 2-0 coming home for Samford.

Postivies beyond the win: shot 19-21 from the line. Held them to 41% shooting. Sawvell with another good game-10 points, 6 rebounds.

Garcia played a good game overall, hitting some shots and doing some nice work on their top scorer. I would like to see Justin take his man more often on O; he handles it pretty well and has some good moves and nice touch 8 feet in. Our D rebounding was good.

Glad to have any road win!! Now we have two more at home. Seem to be getting better on D and Sawvell moving into the rotation more and more. CJ is so consistent and handles much bigger guys so well. We're looking for opportunities to penetrate. EG scored on a contested layup and ALMOST stayed on his feet!

HaHA, thought the same thing on that layup from EG.

CJ was a hoss last night. We need to get better with our switch-offs out front; we are not getting to the shooter there quickly enough. Several careless turnovers. Sawvell's experience is showing, and rubbing off.

Our free throw stats from the past two games indicates that we are moving the ball well and getting penetration. We HAVE to have both if this team is to win.
