I was worried after Mizzou Friday. I am not worried after last night. We will be just fine. Love Magee and Pegram.
Hope Jackson gets back. I hear he is iffy for the season.

Interesting. Just the thought of Cam Jackson as a 4 and Pegram as a 5; with McGee at the 2 and one year with Garcia at the point is very exciting. We have never had a combination of big guys like that. You can see how it would be tempting, if Cam's knee is in limbo, you can see how it would be tempting to redshirt him. I don't know much about our commits for next year, but I sure hope we are onto a great PG to come in after Eric Garcia. Amazing to me how MY has gotten this program in position to fill slots, rather than just take what they can get. Some awfully big programs see Wofford and Coach Young on a very high level in the basketball world.

From this you can see that Roy Williams has some nice things to say about us. http://www.goupstate.com/article/201511 ... Tar-Heels-

Offensively - I thought Allen played very well... gives the ability to stretch other teams. Thought we did a much better job of being committed to having an inside presence than against Mizzou. If Gordon, etc. interior play continues, not hard to imagine dribble penetration opening up a lot more against SoCon opponents. Which coupled with the outside game could be dangerous.

Defensively - tough to gauge because we're undersized against these power 5 teams I guess. Need to defend dribble penetration and limit the amount of points in the paint in conference.

Overall, it's an understatement to say pretty exciting times for Terrier Basketball!

Maryland-Eastern Shore (tomorrow) is 0-2, with 17-point losses to K State and Mizzou. We need to be careful and play well. Game is at noon, on SoCon Digital Network.

It would be a real shame if Cam Jackson cannot play this year. Seems like a guy who could be poised for a real breakout season.

I got an indication at UNC that he won't be out much longer, but we will see. He certainly fills a need. BTW, C.J. Neumann played his heart out against UNC's bigs. And Gordon is as quick inside as anyone.

I've been hearing they are hoping to have Cam back by the Clemson game. His injury is unfortunate, as this young man has worked his tail off, and is primed to have a big year.

Cam has great footwork, and soft hands. He will give us a new dimension on both ends of the floor. I am sure that Coach Tim Johnson has been working with him on rebounding, and we will need it down the line. If you saw the groundbreaking ceremony for the JRFH, you know he is articulate, intelligent, and a great public speaker. We all await his return.

UNI is a top 40 team.
And UNC ain't #1.
Especially without Paige.
