Hope we get a decent seed and first round opponent.

Somehow I think this time we will. Even with the tough first rounders the past 3 times, we got a major opponent with a time that put us on national TV for widespread viewing. Just hope we get something close enough to allow lots of fans to attend.

I hope we can get an 11 seed, but 12 is most likely. Or we could slip to 13. It all depends on who else makes the tournament, and there's a lot of basketball left to be played before Selection Sunday. I think a 12 beats a 5 every year. Why not Wofford?

With our record, RPI, reord against the "top 100",I cold see us getting as high as a 10 seed.

Just being there is an accomplishment, but we've gone that route already. Now we need to collect a scalp. To that end, I hope we draw someone from a power conference who has never heard of Wofford and is looking ahead to their next matchup. If the Terriers get a game like that then there is a great chance to pull an upset if they can dictate the pace of the game and have a decent night shooting.

As of right now, Wofford is one of the top 10 trends in Twitter

Right now Joe Lunardi has Us as a 12 seed in Jacksonville, FL playing 5 seed Arkansas. I hope that is not the case. Arkansas tends to be a high scoring, pressing team, the kind of team we do not match up as well against. I think an upset chance would be slim here. I would also rather play in Charlotte than Jacksonville.

Jerry Palm at CBS has us as a 12 against UNI which would be interesting as both teams play stingy defense. May have to be a matchup like that to win although I think UNI will be at least a 4 seed. They are 30-3, won conference tourney and ranked pretty highly. Its all guesswork until the big conference tournaments get a few days in.

No chance we go to Charlotte because they have the 8 and 9 seed game. Best we can hope for IMO is a return trip to Jacksonville. That wouldn't be close enough to take some buses down I would think.

One request; if we were to go back to Jacksonville, I hope we can get a better hotel location. The NCAA makes the decision on which of the hotels each team uses. We obviously had last choice in Jacksonville and Denver. How 'bout a little respect, NCAA Committee!! As a school we have to prove that we travel well (take lots of fans). In all fairness, the Committee probably uses the seeds to determine location. Denver was a mess, because a number of Wofford fans couldn't get into the arena by the start of the game because of the timing and logistics.

If you look at the sites, it appears that Jacksonville has the 5-12 matchups, and Columbus has the 6-11 matchups along with Portland 5-12 and Louisville 6-11. If everything works out, we could evne see a Davidson-Wofford matchup at a 6-11. That would be a great matchup for us and I would love to see us take them on. I agree that we don't want Arkansas for our matchup. they press and have the Playetr of the year in their center. We don't have the size to match up with him. Cant wait for Sunday night.

I would love to see us matched up with Davidson. I think they would likely take us lightly since we are from a conference that they now condsider to be a joke and much beneath them. And as a result of that kind of thinking on their part, I think we would spank that butt, especially since I consider them to be quite overrated. It would be our 29th win and give us a chance to do something that I and probably many other never thought was possible- win 30 games (and not to mention reach the Sweet Sixteen)!
