Maybe a little off topic but if you are not in Charleston or have driven hwy 26 heading into chucktown in the last couple of days new billboard with 2015 socon champs on it. Asking everyone to the dance by chance replacing new c of c coach board if one of my fellow brother s could post from Twitter would appreciated

NC State looked pretty good tonight. Cat Barber, with 32, is a jet.

And as a result of that kind of thinking on their part, I think we would spank that butt, especially since I consider them to be quite overrated. It would be our 29th win and give us a chance to do something that I and probably many other never thought was possible- win 30 games (and not to mention reach the Sweet Sixteen)!

I doubt Davidson would take us too lightly. They were in the SoCon tournament last year ... and they know who went dancing and who didn't. If anything, I think they would try to make that a statement game.

Davidson will get a higher seed than Wofford, but I don't see them getting a 6. I think 8 or 9 is as high as they get.

I'd rather play a power conference team that knows very little about Wofford. Let their studs make jokes and ask who we are. Sure, we don't want a run up and down the floor opponent, but what's to say we can't grind a team like that down to a halt. NC State can run and routinely scores in the 80's. Against Wofford, they scored 54. Our preparation will be there, we just need someone who takes us lightly, looks ahead, and let's us hang around. Give us a situation where we are close with a minute or two left and I'll bet quite a bit that we can find a way to close it out. We had Wisconsin in 2010 and let them off the hook; I was there, and blood was in the water. I don't see Coach Young or our guys letting that happen again.

Joe Lunardi now has us as #12 seed playing #5 seed Wichita St....I like that better than Arkansas, but the Shockers are still very good.

WSU vs. Wofford is obviously my ideal match up. Get to see my cousin play and my wsu team play. I would have a hard time rooting for one team but at least I can say go black and gold since they have the same colors (although wsu is really more yellow than gold)

Doesn't WSU press quite a bit? I think that would make for a more difficult matchup if so.

they do press but I would say wsu is weaker this year than previous years. Does wofford do zone defense? Wsu struggles a ton with that this year

Wofford runs man pretty much exclusively- can't remember us playing press D at all this season.

That would be unfortunate if he left for UNCC without us being competitive in the bidding for his services. Conference USA isn't exactly a basketball league as we've seen with Old Dominion's difficulty getting a second bid as an at-large. I would think it would be tough to leave a program like Wofford with good academics and a new basketball facility on the way for a program like UNCC that's been perpetually a middle-rung team in only an average conference. Hope MY sticks around and the Board of Trustees realizes and appreciates the value he provides to the college.

Wofford friend and Charlotte resident saw another Wofford basketball billboard driving down I-77 this morning. He works in Fort Mill.
