It is nice to be able to even talk about possible at large bids but IMO, being realistic, we have to win the SOCON tourney to get in the dance. Additionally, we are not playing great right now. Nice to be winning but even coach Young realizes that they are not playing great basketball right now. Some injuries have set us back but we've got to improve to put ourselves in the best position possible (#1 seed in tourney) to win the tournament.

Couldn't agree more. IFwe run the table and lose if conference finals with our only losses being to Duke, WVU, Stanford, W&M and lets say Chatty for argument's sake, then a case could probably be made. But as Davidson and others from our league have seen in years past, we will more than likely be on the outside looking in. The best news is that even though we are winning, we are definitely not playing our best and I am hopeful that we start to peak in Mid-February and really are ready to cause some damage in the tournaments.

Congratulations to Coach K on his 1000th career win today at MSG against St. John's. There are and their have been very few as good as he is in his profession.
