At William and Mary

This game, Saturday at 4:30 (video link available at 4:00), is important. W & M is 4-1, like us, with an opening loss to #7 Florida. It is a post Thanksgiving game, with both teams potentially not focused. Getting a good win at another team's house would be excellent preparation for the season, and for NCSU, Duke, and WVU. Pride is on the line. Hopefully we go in there ready and play well.

This will definitely be a statement making opportunity for the Terriers. Didn't we lose a tight one at W&M a few years back?

I'll be there at Kaplan Arena cheering on the Terriers. This will indeed be a big game for our boys. I like our chances and this is just another chance for our boys to continue to grow as a time against another quality team before we start facing the big boys (Duke, NCSU, and WVU). Let's keep up the winning streak.

Down 25-12 in first half; out of sync. Refs making some iffy calls, to say the least.

Lost 66-62. Got down 14-0 to start and never got our rhythm; played too much catch up. Their point guard had a big day.

Lost a tough game on the road against a very good mid-major opponent. We got off to a slow start and just couldn't overcome it. Our big men were taken out of the game by foul trouble. We will bounce back.

Gutsy performance by our guys after we dug such a deep hole. We let them shoot a high percentage and didn't play our brand of basketball. You could tell from the post game interview that MY knows how big this game was to us. We are trying to show the basketball world that we are a serious team and a mid-major contender. If we can start to beat the mid-majors that are always contenders we can get good invitations and exposure. Barring an upset over a ranked team, we need to beat the Ionas, W&M's, etc that will play us. We have heart, and we're pretty good.

We lost to a really good team and even though we lost Wofford still showed that we are a team that cannot be taken lightly. We have a good team. This year could be one of our best ever

Somehow there is just a feeling from MY that he thinks this may be the best Wofford team ever-or at least has the ability to be. Something that has been interesting to me is Lee Skinner's leadership of this team. He just refuses to lose, and his leadership is apparent in so many ways. He may not be the most skilled player, but he insists on every player giving the best he can; and he leads by example. If a teammate goes down Lee is the first one there to give him a hand up. Intangibles make winners.

I couldn't agree more about lee skinner. He does so much more than what shows up on the boxscore. This team does have the intangibles to be as good a teams we have ever had. Lets enjoy this team and see where they take us

+1. Skinner has been a ball of fire since day one. Cochrane has learned from him in that regard.

With five fouls and two points in 14 minutes, Gordon had a sub-par outing. Know he will bounce back.

Great takeaway from this game: On an away game against a good team we get down 14-0, the other team shoots 66 % from the field, one of our best players has a very subpar game, and yet we still have a great chance to win it at the end. Lesson: always start strong and play hard for forty minutes, ESPECIALLY DEFENSE.
