Four game stretch

The terrier have a short 4 game stretch over the next five days. Three games in a time span of 41 hours then another game two days later at home. It would be great to get four wins out of this.
The three games in Fairfield will test all of the teams with little time between games and no crowd ( except for Fairfield) Lets hope our experience helps us thru this and then we can look forward to the games home on Tuesday night.
I hope we can give these guys another good showing of support for this home game.

Not sure what the team will do in between games, but they are in the Bristol, CT area where ESPN is headquartered. I hope Wendy Nix has arranged tours for them. Amazing that the team has, in two weeks, flown out to San Jose, CA; played a 7 AM game on national TV; and flown to NYC to play in a three games in three days event that can only make them a better team and give all the team members significant PT. What a ride.

Here are game notes for the three games there. Sam Houston State appears to be the toughest of the three opponents, although any of the three could beat us. Duke just hung a 50-point loss on Fairfield, but they will do that to others too. Looks like you can get a one-game video subscription for $5.95 at fairfieldstags.tv. Mark and Tom too. 7 p.m.

Hauser is flying solo for this trip. Henson is back in Spartanburg doing play by play for the football game. I hear the dynamic duo or gruesome twosome will be back in the saddle fulltime together

We lead at Fairfield 26-15 with 15:31 left in the game. This is a real defensive struggle but so far we have the upper hand.

It's been a really ugly game for both teams- lots of turnovers and poor shooting by both teams. Fortunately, we're holding our own though.

45-28 now with 4:37 left. We are playing poorly but we still lead a D-1 opponent on the road by 17. I'll take it. Any road win you can get is big.

Final score 54-36. An ugly game. But it still shows how good we are. It is a sure sign of a good team to still win by 18 on the road when bringing our C or D game. There was a time when our program would have lost this game. Way to gut one out.

Ugly indeed, but a W is a W. Our D must have been decent? Held them to 12 points in the first half. Hopefully we find our range in the next few. Keep on racking up the W's regardless.

S. Dakota is respectable; recently lost at Stanford by 11.
