Anyone know about radio coverage for the game at Stanford? I know football has Furple the next day at high noon. Didn't know what that meant for the dynamic duo of Hauser and Henson.

From what I understand, Thom will make the venture to the west coast, and Mark will be doing football. I know one goes west, one stays home, and pretty sure I'm correct about who goes where.

This week's Sports Illustrated features "November Madness" - a preview of the Men's Hoops tourney. For the Round of 64, shows Wofford as a 15 seed vs. Florida (2 seed) in the West bracket. Arizona is the top seed in this group with the other 1 seeds: Wisconsin!! (East), Duke (South), and Kentucky (Midwest.)

Will be interesting to compare vs. actual bracket in 5 months. Let's go Terriers...

Something I learned from the podcast with Coach Young is that the Terriers will be playing NC State in Reynolds Coliseum. That's pretty cool.
Also, Duke is having its way with the Blue Hose. 57-19 at the half

Hobo,

I'm attending the Wofford-Wolfpack game on December 14. Will be accompanied by my nephew who is an NCSU alum. (Poor guy!) Look forward to seeing you and Terrier fans in Raleigh.

GO SHD!

Heads up as we approach our conference schedule: Saw part of the WCU/ETSU game on the tube. ETSU looks like a real challenge for us.

The exhibition this afternoon was just that. However, there were lots of bright spots for our Terriers. We found out how good a couple of our Freshmen can be. KC mailed it in, but it may have been part of the plan-to get the others more involved. Justin Gordon is listed as a Junior. He has tremendous talent, and could be VERY good. Skinner had probably his best game so far, and not only in scoring. Our guys played hard on defense, even against an outmatched opponent. The play on offense was unselfish, with 5 players in double digits in scoring. This was a good chance to blow off some steam before exams. Next up: NC State next weekend. Oh, by the way, our guys have the ability to be very good.

Looking at the schedule, we start and end with two games on the road. We also have a stretch of 8 games with 6 at home in Jan-just when our students are gone. It would be nice to be able to schedule better, but since it is in conference I would imagine that our folks have no control.

Does having interim in January hurt our basketball program? I'd say it definitely doesn't help it. As for conference play, winning the SoCon is far from a given. From what I've seen, ETSU and VMI have the potential to seriously challenge us.
