2014-15 Season just got better

Postby Ruckus on Sun Jun 08, 2014 9:25 am

This is unconfirmed but I just saw something that indicates Evanston transfer Ryan Sawvell may have gotten his year of eligibility back. This means he comes in as RS Jr and has 2 years of eligibility left at WoCo. Can anyone confirm?

It now appears that he will not sit out any more and can play for us '14-'15 and '15-'16. Good news.

Tweak: pretty sure Ryan Sawvell's current status is that he can play for us after December this season (14-15), and all of the next season; he is not required to sit out this entire season. He can, of course, practice from day one. Looks like he recently received a ruling to this effect.

No, I now have heard from a good source that he is out this whole year and can play the next two.
