Aerris- We love you man, but you have to postpone the surgery for a week. Even if you can be there with the team, we all want to see you suited up and playing the game. You are an inspiration to Terriers long gone from Spartanburg; to Terriers lucky enough to be fellow students; and to Terriers yet to come. We cry with you and for you. You will be such a success in life.

Aerris is such a team player. I am so happy for him and all of our Terriers. The interview is amazing!! That is what makes Wofford basketball and Wofford so special!!

As many of you have seen on the social media, the story of Aerris has made many of the sports related media sites. In addition, he did undergo surgery today. We all wish him well. I think his presence on the trip to the NCAA will be a big inspiration.

More and more people are learning of this fine young man. It appears to me that the YouTube sound track has picked up almost 22,000 hits overnight.

Also looks like ESPN host Scott Van Pelt will have him on his radio show.
Good for Aerris. Good for Wofford.

I trust someone will get a link for that interview and post it here after.

Doggone it, I just missed it! I've been in job related training most of today. Hopefully a link for it will appear in the future. I bet a lot of people will be rooting for Wofford in the tourney now (even if Dan Patrick isn't). I dearly hope Aerris is on the bench with the team when we play.

The YouTube video has over 45,000 views and Deadspin is over 25,000. One of the things that the ESPN2 touched on that I did not hear in the Mark and Thom interview was that he did not even get to practice because of the pain and the swimming was his only way to keep on shape so that he could go about 5 minutes or so per game as that as much as his knee would allow. It makes his story even more amazing. What dedication.

He apparently was also taken off his pain meds before the SoCon tourney. His performance is even more amazing.

I got to hear it after a meeting today. He presented himself, the team, and the school well.
