I had thought Sawvell would be available to play for us December 2014, but from this article written by Todd several days ago, it appears he may have to sit out all next year (presumably he can practice) and then be available to play for us one year, 2015-16. He is currently a junior.

For next year, then, we have two freshmen coming in, a guard and big man, both of whom are very promising and likely will contribute at once. Sawvell should be a big help the next year, after Skinner graduates. I think the entire team and staff are committed to winning and returning to the dance next year. We cannot take anything for granted; need to keep the D at a high level.

From this, it looks like we have a scholarship to give for 2014, if the right player is identified. If we don't do it that way, we still appear to be in good shape, and should have 3 or 4 scholarships available for 2015, and an attractive program to offer the right prospects.

The Twitter lines are going crazy with Tweets from coaches and players alike, that Larry McKnight, Jr just committed to Wofford.

http://floridahoops.com/?page_id=30 This says he is #98 out of the top 100 in Florida and a 3 star. And I also noticed Derrick Brooks (#35) listed on the same top 100 list and as a 4 star. Wahoo !!!! Go Terriers !!!!!!

McKnight is a wide body at 213 lbs. Reminds me of Junior Salters. But apparently is pretty explosive and a good defender.

Apparently he is a good outside shooter and likes to take it to the hoop/mix it up. I could see him playing some small forward in our offense. Played in very successful program ... great addition.
