they have been trying to put a pep band together for years, but could never get enough students to go through with it.

The pep band always seemed to disappear during Interim and never return. I hope they can make it stick. It was great to have when it was there.

Interesting they moved the students. I wonder if one of the reasons is because they were too close to the visiting team. I know it can be pretty brutal over there if you are a visiting team and the students are an aisle and a step away from you.

Not sure putting the "family section" right next to the students makes it very family friendly. I know that when I was a student, if there was a 4 year old sitting across from me, he was leaving the game with a completely new vocabulary.

Seems to me that with the students right in the middle of the courtside section, that gives us a pretty decent home court advantage. I don't really get it.

I agree dude. Seems the only logical move for the students was behind the visiting bench.

Sounds like some thinking has gone into how to make things better. I agree that students behind the visiting bench makes sense, but bringing paying families into the best seats makes sense if you are trying to cultivate a bigger fan base. The biggest problem is that we don't have seats along the end lines which would add a ton to the game atmosphere, but there's not much hope of changing that anytime soon.

The BenJo is small enough, and the students are loud enough - doesn't matter where they sit.
