I'm coming around. Our problems appear deeper than I thought.

The Western men's basketball team has faced a lot of adversity this year.

Maybe what you are overlooking is that Coach Hunter is a pretty GOOD coach, and the 8 remaining scholarship players on the team (Giles was out with an injury) have both faced and overcome this adversity head on, and became a pretty fair basketball team.

You are either not giving the Western team enough credit, or too down on your own team.

Of course both the CoC and Elon teams felt the way you do now.... not sure how the Citadel fans felt.

I don't believe the comments were meant to be an insult to your team. It is more a continuation of an ongoing argument on this board regarding the role of scholarships in the success, or lack thereof, of our basketball program. Congrats on the conference win.

Terriers were staring at a 1st round bye at 7-6 and now they are 7-12 with a game left tomorrow.

Who does it look like for us in the first round? I can't remember how the seeding works.

Possible Seedings/Pairings

If we win against the Citadel, coupled with a WCU loss that will put us probably at an 8 or 9 seed playing Furman for the right to play Davidson on Saturday- if I am not mistaken.
