Any thoughts on tomorrows game? They're 3-0 in conference play and lost to some quality teams in non-conference. Think we can match up pretty well outside but need a lot more in the paint. They beat Elon and we had a lot of trouble with them especially down low.

I don't profess to know much about Chattanooga, but from watching them play at Wofford last season, we need to contain that guy who was hitting long shots from all over the court if he hasn't graduated.

That was Keddrick Mays, he went 7-11 on 3's. He's gone now but they still shoot 3 pointers pretty good (McDowell alot). Got to stay in their face outside but still need to get to work more inside on offense. :roll:

Heard Coach Young on ESPN 1400 a little while ago. He sounded positive and that practice had been going very well. I just hope the break doesn't interupt the momentum from the Vegas Tourney

Saw in the paper that we were a 3-point fav. Little surprised at that, but will take it.

we sure are blowing this! down 4 with about 3 minutes to play. Anyone else listening on the radio? We had a double digit lead at the half, and a 5 point lead just a minute ago. Mocs are on an 8-0 run.

I went to the game tonight. Almost two thirds of the shots Wofford took were 3 point shots. This is the first game I have been to this season and I dont know if it's been this way in the other games, but Wofford didnt have any semblance of an inside game. Granted Wofford hit 50% of their three point shots, but they also need some balance.

The young guys on the team have some size to them and have good skills; they need to be utilized more in my opinion.

I agree, we've got to develop more inside. That's the only way to keep our 3 point advantage. :lol:

Their 3, 4, and 5 were 6-7, 6-7, and 6-8. They did use 6-10 Gwynne for awhile and they beat us on the boards. We seem to shoot 3's well in the first half most of the time and get slowed quite a bit in the 2nd. I know we don't have the size inside and Whatley has a cracked rib but need to find an inside game, more second chances and paint points. :?

Furman's not very good, but Western really is hurting after Aldridge left. Hard to lose 18 points per game and keep things headed i nthe right direction. But, the Cats did play NC State tough the other night.
