Kentucky Christian, Thur 12/6 7PM

In a way I think it is kind of good we have a game like this following the Kansas trip. It gives us a great opportunity to get our mojo and confidence back very quickly and get right back in the win column after a tough game. Smart scheduling. I know KCU is not exactly a hot ticket but hopefully we can get a few people in the JRIS to watch this very good team (hopefully) put on an exhibition and see everyone play. But if you can’t make it the game will be on the SoCon Digital Network for free. No subs required. http://www.socondigitalnetwork.com/soco ... n-12062018 The Knights are 1-14 on the season, with losses to teams such as Hiwassee, Berea, and Campbellsville. They have surrendered over 100 points nine times. The seem to like to play a run and gun style like the Citadel and it obviously has not been very successful for them. Eastern Kentucky dropped 136 on them, Morehead State 120 in their previous D1 games. So I will say the Terriers should break the century mark for the first time this season.

Incidentally, I watch a lot of college basketball on TV and online and I have been paying attention to all the arenas, particularly the mid-major ones. I’m proud to say the JRIS beats most of them in my eyes. We really do have one of the finest facilities at our level.

I am looking forward to attending this low-stress game and seeing how the players respond from Kansas.

I hope Fletcher gets the opportunity to shoot more to get back into rhythm in a game environment. He's been cold the last few games

Why are our games no longer consistently on ESPN3? The Socon Digital Network is really tough to go back to with it's non-functional on-screen clock/scoreboard, frequent interruptions, and poor streaming quality. We've had good quality streaming for the past several seasons and now we're back to this nonsense

We are still not shooting it especially well from outside. Other than that, about what you’d expect against an overmatched opponent. Inside domination, lots of dunks, and a 59-30 lead. KCU is playing hard and they have guys that can shoot it.

Man, Fletcher missed three straight free throws. Never thought I’d see that! Personally I would have enjoyed seeing Fletcher kick that Robinson guy’s butt who was talking and acting so tough to him, but I understand that’s not how we do things at Wofford and that’s a good thing! And we don’t want to lose Fletch for any games. The students have been getting on that Robinson kid though and that’s fun!

112-58 final. I know this may sound odd considering our opponen but to hold a team that plays the pace that KCU does under 60 was a great defensive effort. It was thei season low by far. Chavez Goodwin was a MAN tonight!

I'm still speechless about Fletcher missing three straight free throws. But 8-12 from behind the arc was a welcome sight.

Perhaps Fletcher was just a little worked up with adrenaline at the line after that Robinson punk came at him  :D
