Would like to see him get a shot at AAA this season. Or next.

Saw Adam pitch last night vs. NH and was joined by our former super-star videographer (now at Boston College.) Errors and a 3-run HR put AS and the Rubber Ducks in a bind; lost 0-7. Spoke after the game; quite a good dude with great perspectives on his baseball career and Wofford lineage. (BTW...is also best friends with Jacob Condra-Bogan.)
Who wudda thought 2 former Terrier pitchers would play nearby in the span of 2 weeks!! Look forward to watching their climb to the majors.

Gladly, Hobo...'twas a fun evening.
Adam pitches today vs. the Red Sox AA team in Portland, Maine; so, hopefully gets back on track and raises his record to 5-2.
Then, "enjoys" the 13-hour bus ride back to Akron. One of the major perks he mentioned if he/his teammates make it to the show, is flying to opponents' stadiums. Hopefully, it's when vs. if for him!!

Portland Sea Dogs 3 - Rubber Ducks 2 this afternoon

Adam pitched 5.1 innings; charged with the loss. Gave up 4 hits, 3 runs (1 earned), 0 BB, 6 strike outs, 1 HR ERA 3.45. Made an errant throw on pick off attempt at 2B in 1st inning which scored a run. Hopefully, finishes strong the next 3+ weeks.

Thanks, TNHD. The error was too bad and on him. However, he has had some bad luck, not receiving a lot of offensive support on occasions this year. Keep working hard.

Pitches this afternoon...hopefully, gets back on track with a win. Not exactly:

Rubber Ducks Lost 2-3; Adam got the loss to even his record to 4-4 w 3.63 ERA: 4.2 IP, 4 H, 3R (all earned), 2 BB, 5 SO, 1 HR. Needs to finish the season strong over next 3 weeks.

P.S. Alumni news: had another Wofford-Red Sox gathering last night at Fenway. Fun evening: Joined by 20 alums, families and friends (from SC, NY and MA.) Our mojo helped the locals to a 4-0 victory vs. the Orioles. Quite the special moment: a member of the 50-year club exchanged stories with a couple '19 grads who were outstanding scholars, track and field stalwarts, campus leaders, etc. #passthetorch

Sounds like a great evening with alums, TNHD. Hard to beat a game at Fenway ... Get yo Hawt Dawgs HEAH!

Again, unfortunately not a lot of run support for Adam.
