Redfern got his first start in regular season and kickted a 50 yard punt. Later he bobbled a snap and had to run; was hit hard and carted off with a knee injury. No report on whether it was the kicking leg.

That is really too too bad. Should get a nice compensation package if he cannot successfully rehab. Coach Caldwell (former WFU head coach) said some very nice things about Kasey.

I watched some of the Detroit game against the Giants and got sad every time the Lions punted.

Kasey Redfern is currently a free agent, as of March 2018. By late July he should be fully recovered and get a chance to catch on with a team again. Go Kasey!
