We played well that game, but I thought the Grizz missed some opportunities, especially at the end; their kicker (I think he was an All-American) hits that FG 4 times out of 5. We had no business letting them return that kickoff so well at the end. We stayed focused however and did not make mistakes when it counted, although we made several early and Montana did not capitalize. Our last TD, up the gut, was unforgettable. We blocked particularly well ... cut them down like wheat on a regular basis. The Grizz fans remain some of the classiest I have been around. And yes, we do need to have some versatility on offense, including the ability to execute a certain number of pass plays.
Don't want to jinx us, but I think our 2016 team will have as much talent and experience, maybe more, as both our '07 team, and the one that lost to ND State; will they have the heart? Will they be able to show a little versatility when needed? Can they forget the past and write their own story?
