William competes in the RBC this week, where he has done well in the past.

Not a good start; +3 and T146 after an opening round of 75; needs a big birdie run in Round 2!!! Get 'em...

He was in the top 10 through 11 holes yesterday and then played the final seven holes six over par. Burnout; slump?

Or some sort of injury? He withdrew yesterday.

William has had a recent back problem. https://www.pga.com/events/pgachampions ... ampionship

He finished the first round of the PGA in Charlotte today, but needs to play much better tomorrow to make the cut. The course is wet and playing very long.

Played better yesterday; but, finished +8 and missed the cut for the PGA Championship. Hopefully, his back injury continues to improve and finishes strong during the next couple months of the tour.

Glad to see William play well and make the cut comfortably at the first playoff event. He is guaranteed of playing in the next event and could make another depending on how he does this week and next. Like all of the golfing community in Spartanburg he is with a heavy heart from the loss of Rob Chapman-devastating to Spartanburg.

William, at 96th in FedEx Cup points, advances to the Deutsche Bank tourney. He needs to play well there and get into the top 70 to get into the next round (the BMW).

Shot -1 in R1 @TPC-Boston; tied for 22 and only 4 strokes off the lead. Encouraging after his last few outings.
R2: tees off at 9:39am on #10; playing w Chris Kirk and Patton Kizzire.

Neighbor and I will be following him tomorrow and hopefully have a chance to speak afterwards.

Nice chip!

Check out his scorecard. After the first two holes he had one foot on a banana peel and the other one in a grave. What a fantastic comeback. Sad finish or he would have been high on the list.

Finished 2nd round at Dell Tech at 2 over par; made cut!! VERY important as he accumulates FED EX points for the next rounds.
Enjoyed a quick greeting on his way to tee box, and brief chat with Sarah who was following him.
After yesterday's perfect day for golf, rainy today and nice again tomorrow. Tees off at 11:43 on #10. Need some birdies...
Get 'em!
