I really can't imagine anyone handling a trip to his first Masters any better than William. Not only did he play well, but he presented himself so well to the public. Every interview was done well, and he showed his emotions on the course and had the camera on him so often. He moved up to #50 in the Official World Golf Rankings and moved up on the FedEx list as well. Let's hope this boosts him as the summer begins and golf really cranks up. If he can continue to play well he will be invited back to the WGC Bridgestone event as well, and complete a full year in every big money tournament available.
By the way, his sponsors should be elated with the coverage he got for their products. They pay him to get them on TV and in the spotlight, and this week he certainly accomplished that.

William is at -3, 5 strokes behind leader (B. Cauley) after 1st round or RBC Heritage.
Hope a HUGE Terrier crowd follows him in HH this weekend as he pushes for another victory.

Can certainly make up the difference; do great things tomorrow.

With this great T3 at Hilton Head he jumps to 44th in the Fedex Cup standings. He really played well, and with a little luck could have won. Some wonderful putts either lipped out or barely missed on the high side. With the Players Championship, US Open, British Open, and other big events over the next couple of months it is a great time to be peaking! About forgot the defense at Jack's place!

Don't look now, but William is atop the leaderboard at the Players Championship after an opening round -5. That included two bogeys and two eagles. Go William!

On the Golf Channel the panel just did about a ten minute segment talking about William and how he has worked his way toward the top. They give him full credit for grinding and working to get there. Sounded like the description of a short haired dog to me!

Hobo- Just read the article you posted...you think Vienna sausages are just a Southern thing, or are they universal?

Haha. I'm thinking southern. Maybe in Vienna, Austria too :)

Any former Boy Scout or anyone who ever worked construction in the South knows Vienna Sausages well!
