Two bogies and two doubles on last nine. Good overall tournament, however, on a tough course.

I'm sure William is really hurting over this one. He played unbelievably well in the first eight holes-was four under and could have been 6-7-and was putting great. Then on #10 he had a long putt that didn't break as much as he thought and left himself about an 8 foot putt for par. He jammed it by and missed it coming back and that threw him into a tailspin. At the time he was 2 or 3 shots off the lead and really putting heat on the leader. He just thought that if he made a couple of more birdies he would be right there. Just got ahead of himself, which is easy to do.
Still, he really played well against the best, and he moves to the Big Island for another event this week. When he has time to think it out he will realize how well he played and is playing. If he can get near the lead this week look out.

Hope you guys saw him birdie the stadium hole #16. Made a long putt. Currently 4 under on his first nine after eight holes, with three birdies in a row. Making waves.

I sure don't want to jinx him, but William is in a great position going into the final round at Phoenix. He has played great so far, and gotten himself into the top 10. We wish him a great day!

Although I am sure he would have liked to finish higher, his OWGR (Official World Golf Ranking) actually crept up a notch. Really important, because he wants to be eligible for the match play World Golf Championship later this spring. On to Pebble Beach, where the weather may be a little suspect this week. From the ridiculous (Phoenix) to the sublime (Pebble). Then onto La La Land.

EVEN after 3 rounds @Pebble Beach; made cut, but did not finish (MDF); same result for 11 other pros.
Seventeen strokes behind Spieth; so, is excluded from today's final pairings.
TV broadcast (CBS) showed him having some fun reacting to his "star" pairing's wayward shots: Raj ("The Big Bang Theory") and Alphonso Ribiero ("Fresh Prince...") Gorgeous day for golf on the peninsula after Friday's rain and fog.

William still earned $14,100 for making the cut at Pebble Beach. A double bogey on his last hole of the third round kept him out of the last day's action and from earning a bigger paycheck.

Would not have wanted to be in the proximity of William after the finish. Drove it perfectly on #18 and after managing to butcher the hole three putted to finish one shot out of playing today. It ain't all sweetness and light out there.

Shot par today; so, still -3 for the tourney. Tied for 25...9 strokes off current leader, DJohnson (still on course.)
Time for red numbers tomorrow and strong final round!
