Great final round -6 65! The Saturday round cost him a potential top 10. Still a good week and a catapult onto the Florida swing. The reshuffle will be good to him and keep him playing in all the events other than the majors and the short field events. Go get 'em William.

Glad to see William with a strong Sunday and another solid paycheck.

The reshuffle moved him up quite a bit. He wasn't in the Honda this week, and then got in---perhaps because of the reshuffle. Now he can go. Should have a good number of weeks that he is in the field.

William with an EAGLE on 18 when it was looking like he would miss the cut. He is currently even par with the cut line presently projected to be +1.

He made the cut, as Hobo projected. Hope he can get hot and finish with some serious cash.

Enters today's final round at +2 (tied for 52.) Trails McIlroy (leader) who is -11.
A great round gets him under par for the tourney and a solid payday.

Go William!

Finished the Honda Classic at T-62, with disappointing final round 75. All things considered, making the cut and having some success in a big tourney was a step forward. Watching Tom Gillis, a journeyman in his 40's, play great today and finish tied for second in this event (his best finish ever) was inspirational. If William keeps focusing and persevering, he also can and will have a very good career in the PGA. I see him winning some, sooner rather than later.

William shot 71-69 in the first 2 rounds of the Puerto Rico tournament. He is currently in a tie for 12th,but several shots off the lead (the leader is tearing it up). Easily made the cut. Needs a couple more solid rounds to make for a great weekend!

While the final round could have been better, the t-14 finish is very good. The more times up near the top, the more comfortable he gets being there. He already has won nearly $200,000 and it is not even the end of March. Also, he moved up two more notches on the reshuffle; actually those 2 spots got him into the field this week in Tampa. Keep up the great work, William. The whole Wofford world is with you!

William is a sleeper pick for this weekend.
http://www.pgatour.com/2012/tournaments ... index.html

William McGirt Pretty much picked up where he left off last fall, with five cuts made in seven starts including a pair of top 25s. Last week's T14 in Puerto Rico was a career-best finish in 41 PGA TOUR starts. He ranked inside the top 25 in fairways, greens and putting at Trump International. He's currently 31st on TOUR in GIR and 41st in adjusted scoring.

Don't mind if I do. Was unplugged most of the afternoon and am just now checking to find William tied for 2nd, two shots back. As Boulder says, BIG weekend for our Terrier!
