Good trio, LD!

William is -2 thru 13 holes; Round 1 was suspended due to darkness. Leader is -6 (I think.)
Red numbers tomorrow! Resume play @8am.

After a pretty courageous even par 71 today, William will make the Tour Championship in Atlanta week after next. This is a great culmination to a fantastic year for him. It also opens the door to EVERY event next year-all four majors; all four WGC events; all of the invitationals. In addition, he should get invitations to play in special events around the world, and some in what is known as the "Silly Season," when there are made for TV events played in Nov-Jan. In golf this is the top of the hill, and something he has been working for all his life. It really means that he has risen to the top. This will probably also move him into the top 40 in the World Golf Rankings. We should all really be very proud of him.

Great third round of 66. Moved up considerably. Could get into top half of field with a good Sunday round. What a great comeback to start with a seeming disaster and then grind it back the way he has. Sometimes that is harder than playing near the lead the whole time. Today he was paired with Bubba Watson again, and the two of them both shot 66 and would have had a great fourball score.

Tees off at 12:35pm, paired with Adam Scott. +2 going into final round, tied with Jordan Spieth.
Another blast of red numbers propels him to a lofty standing with bigger names. Get 'em!

William played another great round today, shooting 68 and getting himself back to even par for the tournament. He appears to finish T-17, but somehow he fell one position in the FedEx standings to 24th. Still, that is a phenomenal comeback from his first round and a great finish to an unbelievable year. I know we all hope he has a great time at home relaxing and comes out on the fall segment of the tour hot again. He will start the calendar year 2017 at the Tournament of Champions, and will play in all the majors and the WGC events. He has the ability to sit down and plan his whole year, rather than being forced to play in certain events. We also hope his agent is busy signing great deals for him to make the big bucks!
