Thanks WoCo NH Dude. Really admire Brandon's persistence. Good things will happen if he sticks with it.

Brandon has hit .300 in his last ten games in AAA. Track his progress here. http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.js ... pid=519397

Hitting .327 in the 13 games since the All Star break, including 4 HR's, as of 7-24-12.

"Norfolk's Brandon Waring hit a three-run home run off Gwinnett starter Julio Tehran in the second inning. The Tides added a run in the third and two in the fourth. Bill Hall drove in two runs in the sixth with a two-out double".

Tehran's one of the Braves' top prospects.

Brandon finished his AAA season (66 games) batting .248 with 13 HR and 33 RBI for Norfolk (VA.) Good foundation for 2013! =D>

BW and Steven Tolleson, USC Gamecock alum and son of Wayne Tolleson - former major leaguer from Spartanburg, were listed as the Tides' 3B. Steven was called up to the first place Orioles!! Who wudda thunk it (sic)...very exciting times in Camden Yards.
Go O's!

And in his 42 AAA games since the All Star game, Brandon has hit .294 with 27 RBI's and 10 HR's. He has shown he can play at the highest level, at 3B or 1B.

This compares to Tolleson's .254 and 0 HR's in his 18 AAA games since the All Star game.

Checked the rosters for the Orioles, Norfolk Tides and Bowie Baysox and Brandon is missing. Odd because he WAS listed as an infielder on the Tides' roster with the disclaimer that the roster would be finalized at the end of Spring Training. Did a Google search to see if was traded or released; but, nothing.

Hope he's in the mix with the O's or another MLB team who will give him a shot.

I don't think the minor rosters are set yet, but it appears he is not on the major roster. If he starts at Norfolk, he should get a chance to move up this summer at some point ... hopefully.

He recently tweeted something about the Eastern League, which would likely put him with the Bowie Baysox. Couldn't find anything roster-wise to confirm this, however
