Andrew continued his remarkable record of Monday qualifying this week by making the field at the Savannah Web.com Tour event. He also made the cut today and will play on the weekend. He continues defying the odds and making chances for himself. He is paired tomorrow with Easley native and Upstate resident Kyle Thompson. We wish them both the best.

After making the cut last week in Greenville, Andrew went to Nashville and once again Monday qualified for the WEB.com event this week. With little or no status he has done a GREAT job qualifying against really high odds. He is getting a chance to get comfortable playing for a living, and is putting a little money and some points in the bank for his future.

Andrew has earned his way onto the WEB.com Tour and will once again be in the field this week. While he hasn't been a big winner, he has gotten to play-which is a BIG DEAL. You can think of it as an internship that has earned him a job. Now he just needs to break through with a top ten and win a little money to keep him playing. He has really done well to get himself a chance to play. The level he is playing is about like AAA baseball. The next step up is the big league!

Thanks for the update Boulder. Andrew was low scorer first round last week at Rustoleum event. Had rough third round, but finished strong to close T62. Really hanging tough. https://www.pgatour.com/webcom/daily-wr ... d-one.html

While everyone in golf was watching the PGA our Andrew Novak was playing in a Web.com event in California and having the tournament of his young career on that tour. He finished Tied for 10th, after shooting 67, 63, 67, 69. He was in the upper echelon of the tournament from the middle of the round on Friday through the finish and played great. Andrew started the season with very little status, and has played himself into a position where he will be exempt until the playoffs. With a good rest of the season he may even make those playoffs. He moved up almost 30 spots on the list to about 130th, and seems to be playing well here when it matters most. All any of the guys on any of the professional tours wants is the chance to play-and to know where he will be playing each week. This is a HUGE step forward for Andrew, and it will be fun to follow him in the coming weeks.
