With a strong returning cast, five talented new players, and a tough but manageable schedule, chances are good we can surpass last year's record setting performance. First 14 games on the road!

Now at 9 - 4. Good start and it seems the Lady Terriers are now playing very well. Tomorrow night is first match - and I think the first official event of any kind - in the new JRIS. http://athletics.wofford.edu/news/2017/ ... esday.aspx

Can hardly wait to watch the first match inside JRIS !!!!!

After a 3-0 sweep at ETSU on their Senior Night, the Terriers finished the regular season at 20-10 overall and 10-6 in the SoCon. This set records for both overall and conference wins as a D1 program. The team goes into the SoCon tourney as the 4 seed and will take on 5th seeded Samford. The teams split two matches this season. No matter what happens there, it has been a successful and historical year for this program. Big congrats to Coach Roos and the girls!

If what I am reading is correct, we beat #1 Furman 3-0 to get to the finals tomorrow. What Lynze Roos has done in a very short time shows us that we CAN compete in women's athletics. We made a move with women's basketball and they have also turned a perpetual loser into a winner. Way to go Volleyball. Now go out there and win the conference championship!

We lost in three straight sets to ETSU in the SoCon finals. Too bad. But 22 wins- a great season for the ladies. They should come back even stronger next year. The future looks great for this program.
