Ladies lost 54-47 to a good Chatt squad, after having a 15 point third quarter lead. Fall to 9-11. We gave good effort and had a chance but could not sustain our shooting and defense. Too many to's. There is presently a talent gap and we have only nine healthy players; a couple of Wofford's upperclass players have not been able to provide leadership in the clutch ... look out of shape. We miss Wanink, and really need at least one more talented player with size.

Chatt's all-time record vs. Wofford improves to 47-2. Better times ahead.

Ladies up at half on Furman, 46-18. Hitting on all cylinders ... keep it up!

We really played well today; our first half was the best in a long time. Booker and Green are becoming a fine tandem at guard, and Bayer was highly focused. Great distribution and few turnovers; strong consistent defense. McDavid and Atha made strong contributions. We must gain some momentum from a win like this, with road games with Samford and Mercer coming up.

Looks like we have turned it around now. I was thinking the same after the near win against Chatt but that was only one game. Now it has been several games and it seems the ladies are playing much better. And they are doing it without their best player. After Wanink went down I thought it would be very difficult to overcome her loss but give a lot of credit to the team as a whole and the coaches. They never gave up. Hats off to them in a big way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9jzvQcDUas

Lost a hard fought game at Samford, 81-77. We played well, especially in the first half. Green scored 35; amazing game.

Probably should have won, but Samford is good at home, where we have never beaten them. Upperclassmen were largely unproductive. We slipped in the fourth quarter, esp. on D. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2018/2/ ... -loss.aspx

Feb 8, 7 pm, ESPN 3, WCU, home ... good chance for a win.

Poor D and rebounding, giving WCU a six point win, their first conference win of the year. Green had big game, but got little help. Disappointing.

We are thin and several players play about all the game, and get winded. Get very little bench help.

Another poor inside game, at home vs. UNCG, losing in OT.

Lost handily at ETSU. Poor shooting, incl. fts. Inside game nonexistent. Most TOs of the year; ten assists, 26 turnovers... awful.

What is WITH this team lately?? They act like since they played well vs. Furman they no longer have to try hard or play smart.
