Job one of course is getting a talented and knowledgeable coach on board. I am guessing that is an early priority.

I cannot find that we have signed any players for next year, although I may have missed something. We have several players returning who show some promise if properly coached and motivated ... e.g., Washington and Wanink. We can offer prospective recruits the chance for immediate playing time, the chance to write their own success story, a great education, and top notch facilities. We are exactly what some talented coach, and players, are looking for; we just have to make it happen.

I wonder if we're looking at the women's coach at Limestone University (Gaffney, SC). He's an '02 graduate of Limestone, and has a very impressive win/loss record there. He went 30-0 this year and is in the Div II playoffs.

Here is the link to next season's four freshman recruits. Don't see any All-Americans here, although they appear to show promise; only time will tell whether they work hard, improve, adapt to the college game, etc. I am predicting at least two of these will start next year ... Houseright and either Booker or Muhammed, or both; it will be interesting ... we can be cautiously optimistic. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2015/11 ... ath=wbball

Strong schedule, looks challenging. Season will be interesting, perhaps even exciting. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2016/9/ ... unced.aspx

Appears we have added another 5-11 recruit, Hannah Morgan. Appears talented. Look forward to seeing all roster and bio info updated. How well will the new coaches blend and utilize this group?

Do not see Muhammad on current roster.

Brand new coach, brand new season, brand new start for everyone.

Lawdog - I am hopeful for a good year. As many have said, it is about recruiting and getting the right talent. This is especially true when considering a coach. Over the last several years, I think they have recruited decent players to field a team. Often, in seasons past the ladies started with determination and yes, wins. Also, year after year we saw the same pattern of the players losing motivation and teams that spiraled into losses after the Christmas break. In my opinion, this was a fault of the coach and not the players lack of talent. The decision to replace the coach was prolonged and I think a new coach brings new excitement and energy. I expect them to be competitive.

Ladies beat SC State tonight at the buzzer, 66-65. First win ever over SC State. This group is getting different players into the mix, as good teams do. Tonight it was Marissa Bayer, 23 points. Traynor and Wanink are stepping it up big as well. Last shot VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CXQUMD_kXk

21 assists to only 11 turnovers. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2016/11 ... conds.aspx

There will be ups and downs, but this team is off to a promising start and shows signs of turning the corner.
