Nice summation Lawdog. I agree with all your points. This season does not reflect the talent or lack there of. It does reinforce the costs of injuries to a team and in this case the losses were many. Wishing the best to the graduating seniors and encouraged by the coach's ability to keep the fight in the ladies healthy enough to remain on the court.

Big kudos to the ladies - won 13 games (which ties most wins since 2011-12 season) with a depleted team. Special...
Looking forward to next season and beyond.

Was really hoping for a W, but Mercer has played well against us this year. Am curious and optimistic about next year. Wanink set school record for minutes played in season.

Chloe Wanink was named second team all SoCon, not bad for a soph. Well deserved. I expect to see her as first team before she is done, and to have some Wofford company on the all SoCon team. There are some really good lady players in the league right now.

It will be important that all our returning players, including those who were injured, work to get better and show up ready to go next year. That, plus the talent that the new recruits appear to have, should give us a chance to be pretty good. I would not be surprised to see at least two of our three recruits start from day one, although we do also have talent among our returning players.

Total culture change for the program in the last year. Good times are ahead for our women's program.

Great short video from Coach Garrity (March 2) thanking the seniors, and read (squint if you have to, like I did) his handwritten note (March 22) on this season's success. https://twitter.com/Wofford_WBB?lang=en He is coaching from the heart. In the note he mentions five newcomers for next year; I assume he is speaking of the three recruits plus the two redshirted freshmen from this year.

I had missed this writeup earlier, about Wanink. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2017/2/ ... onors.aspx

We are losing Cameron Sealey, a really good assistant coach, to a head coach job at her alma mater, Lenoir Rhyne. Best wishes to her.
