55-14

In the first two games, both large defeats, we had 55 turnovers against 14 assists. The reset button needs to be hit and quickly or the season may already be over.

That is terrible. When are the Lady Terriers gonna step it up? We owe them a better competitive opportunity/experience.

Maybe the announcement of the new arena will help recruiting some. But Wofford HAS to FIRE Farmer- that's all there is to it. His performance has been unsatisfactory for YEARS! I know Wofford doesn't like to fire coaches, but when you have an employee this inept at any job/institution/business it just HAS to be done! I would go ahead and fire him NOW, don't wait until March. Show these ladies that we care about them and their basketball program and that we want to improve it because we WILL not accept a level of competitiveness (or lack thereof in this case) that makes mere mediocrity look great. This has gone on long enough now. Things will never change unless steps are taken to change them. The very definition on insanity is doing things the same way over and over and expecting different results. And it must be even more excruciating for the ladies given all of the success the men's team is having.

I'm sure that funding is part of the issue. Maybe not scholarships, but recruiting budgets and administrative budgets. I am certain that Coach Farmer has not had a level playing field compared to others in our conference. But, disadvantages or not, he has had his shot and if we don't turn things around this season he needs to move on (or be moved on). It won't be personal, it will be business. A new direction needs to be found and new blood needs to craft a new vision for women's basketball at Wofford.
