These ladies are playing with more passion than they have in the past few years. They play hard and they look like they're having fun. The coach did an excellent job last game against a pretty talented and physical team (NSU). NSU was shocked at the defeat. Here's to "shocking" many more teams!

Good to hear. I am guessing Coach Ridgill was a great hire, being a former Wofford player and coach at Erskine.

Ladies beat Bluefield to go 4-0. Balanced scoring and unselfish play. Wrightson, the Bucknell transfer, is playing well. We have an experienced team. We will need to recruit about four excellent players for next year since this year's starters are juniors and one senior.

Beat So. Va. 87-51 to go 5-0. Each team had 36 turnovers, wow.http://athletics.wofford.edu/boxscore.aspx?id=1760

Yes, the team is 5-0, but they haven't really played anybody yet. Don't jump on me- I am just being honest and calling it like I see it. We still have no clue if this team can compete against SoCon competition...but 36 TOs against Southern Virginia is not very encouraging.

Don't disagree. We will know more after they play Gardner Webb tomorrow and C of C Monday. Still, there appear to be experience and teamwork there, and Wrightson has added a lot; so has Asst. Coach Ridgill. I look for them to do better this year in the conference.

Ladies beat GWU 58-50, setting school record with 6-0 start. Well done, ladies, keep it up. Need to beat C of C Dec. 5; they are 2-5, so this is a game we should have a great chance in, if we keep playing hard and smart.

Winning breeds winning. Learning to win is the most difficult part. Keep it up, ladies. We're pullin' for you.

They can continue the streak tonight against C of C. They just need to be a little more careful with turnovers but they are capable of winning many more games. It's nice to see solid team play. Many of these lady's are capable of stepping up when needed. It is a well balanced team.

Lost a sloppy game to C of C 49-44. Shooting, including foul shooting, very poor, and 21 turnovers. If we play like this we are going to slide downhill in a hurry. Record now 6-1. Play Old Dominion 12-7, whose record is 1-8; need to win it!

ODU should not be underestimated. Yes they have a losing season so far but their competition has been pretty tough. We can win this game. The shooting percentage will be better than last game as they are much more talented than they showed in the C of C game. They must be more careful with the ball and reduce the turnovers.

I'll be right behind the bench tonight cheering on the Terriers @ ODU. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to watch them play when they are literally about 10 minutes with good traffic from my house. Good luck to the Lady Terriers tonight. I will be the loud one with the only black and gold on in the place most likely besides the ones on the court.

http://athletics.wofford.edu/boxscore.aspx?id=1763 Lost to ODU 70-58. They shot many more free throws than we. Daniella Motley had excellent game ... double-double. How did we look, WoCoRebel? Next up is 4-3 Radford team; winnable if we play well.
