Having watched our girls a number of times I can't see why they have such a poor record. They have good players who control the ball and make great passes. We have played four OT games and haven't won, but have tied one. We lost at the last second to Davidson and completely outplayed Chattanooga tonight, but ended up tied. I'd like to see our keeper stay at home a little more, but wouldn't all soccer fans? We need to take better shots and pass the ball more when we get scoring opportunities, but otherwise this is a strong team which should have a much better record.

Boulder, do the ladies have that one offensive-minded striker or midfielder, who has skills and a scoring mentality? The men have been fortunate to have one or two of those most years lately, which keeps them in the game against anybody.

I'm really not one to understand or judge what goes on during the games. That being said, it appears to me that we do all of the necessary things to get opportunities but don't do the little things to score. It appears we take shots that are possible, but not probable. These girls pass the ball and dribble the ball so well all over the field and then when it gets into the scoring zone they just quit moving it around. It is very frustrating, because IMO this team could be MUCH better. They absolutely dominated Chatty in both OT's.

The difference in the success of the men's program and the women's program in soccer all boils down to one thing...coaching. Just as the difference in success in men's and women's basketball does. The men's programs have very good coaches who have made their programs winners.

Lopsided win. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2015/10 ... 50733.aspx

Team is having a respectable year.Of the 37 on the roster, 16 are true Fr. and two are R-Fr. Academics are outstanding, almost without exception. Future should be bright indeed.

Nice honor for this freshman. However, we have no-one on the first or second team all conference. We should be able to recruit better than that. Samford, by comparison, had seven. http://woffordterriers.com/news/2015/11 ... 50601.aspx

The program is respectable and has shown improvement. For example, we lost to Samford only 1-0, and only had one lopsided loss on the year (Clemson 5-1). We won or tied most of our games (won 6, tied 4, lost eight). Stellar students too.
