The Wofford futbol team gets the first crack at Gardner-Webb this evening at 7:30PM at Historic Snyder Field. I can't make it but hope someone will be there to give me a report.

The game is part of the the Big South/SoCon Challenge going on this weekend at Wofford. The other two teams are Winthrop and GA Southern. Those two start the action tonight at 5pm.

Heading into play Friday night, both GWU and Wofford will be looking for their first win of season. GWU is 0-2 on the year losing 4-0 to UNC and 3-0 to Furman, while Wofford is 0-1 losing 1-0 to Wake Forest. The series goes Wofford's way with 11 wins vs. 4 loses. The two teams have split the last two meetings, as Wofford defeated GWU 2-1 last season, while GWU blanked Wofford 2-0 back in 2004.

Come on T-Dawgs!
