With a successful spring exhibition season, strong returning group and recruiting class, and games against USC, Wake, and UNC, things are optimistic.

When I saw the schedule my first thought was 'That is a very difficult schedule'. But that is how you build a good program - by scheduling the best teams. and of course recruiting top notch players and having good coaches as well. so it will be a challenging year. But with our team, talent and coaches we can have a successful year although it will not be easy.

This looks like maybe our best soccer recruiting class ever. With some experience returning as well, I sense a lot of optimism for the season.

Two days until Wake Forest. It is great to see a full roster. I bet there are some fierce battles going on for starting 11. The more competitive training is the more competitive this team will be. This is good because the schedule is tough. We play at Wake, at #1 UNC, and at USC. Furman is nationally ranked, C of C returns a lot of players, and we have a trip to NY to play Colgate and Cornell (good exposure for recruiting).

Team is still a bit young, but should be an exciting run this Fall!
