Great to see us playing the Tar Heels and Clemson, and Davidson on Fox tv. We lost a lot of players, but will have some promising new faces as well.

I'm hearing RP may need some help raising money for a press box to be built @ Snyder field. Fox TV telecast is requiring this and it may help in the future if we can host another SoCon Tourny. Any alumni and especially soccer be on the look out for this request. The game of the week on Fox Soccer Channel is a national telecast and will be great exposure for Wofford!

Plan on hitting some games this year. Understand Wofford has a local goalie that might be the next Howard. Any info you all can share?

The mood is very upbeat around the men's soccer program, with six returning starters and many others who played a lot (plus, by all accounts, a strong freshman class that will contribute out of the box. The quiet confidence appears to be there. We start our first of three exhibitions tomorrow, before our opener with Navy.

Look for the ladies to be much improved as well, with some good experience and new faces.

Excellent article by Todd on the men's team...we have 3 of the 11 all-conference players, and are still picked to finish only 4th. Sounds like there are some good young players too. If you get a chance, check out these guys this year...should be very interesting season.

Had interesting opening loss (3-1) at Navy. Were dominating the first half, when very late we got a red card in the penalty area, giving up a goal and player in one fell swoop. We still had some good chances in the second half, playing a man down, but it was not to be. Hopefully we learned some valuable lessons.

We are currently 0-3-1, but we are a pretty good side, believe it or not. Our defense is sound, but we are not getting the offense we got last year, and are losing close games to good teams. The effort and skill are there...just need more time to develop chemistry and some of the younger players. USC-U is next, then the Tar Heels (ranked #3)...then we will know more.

Start our conference schedule against good College of Charleston side today. We have the talent to win the SoCon again this year; hopefully experience so far will help us step it up a notch for the conference. Need to get more scoring, to put more pressure on the other team. Defense right now appears to be solid. Need to get a break or two.

Lost to Charleston 4-1...scored first but could not hold it. Hopefully can get on track against Davidson.

Lost 3-0 on national tv to Davidson, after 0-0 first half...something not clicking.

Men lost 1-0 to App. at home. Disappointed in the slide of our team. Elon beat Clemson 1-0.

Men lost 2-1 at Elon. We really seem to lose steam in the second half of games.

Nice to break into SoCon win column with 1-0 win over GSU.
