Great win for RP and the boys! Looks like they have been close all season with 1 goal losses to Clemson, App St and UNC-G, and they finally broke thru!

For once we were the team that scored early with Wilson Hood connecting in the 3rd minute of the game. It is interesting that Jr. Thomas Hunter started in goal instead of Joey Taylor. Hopefully that means we will be good at the GK position for next year. Looks like he had an outstanding game with 8 saves.

It would be great if we can build on this and pick up 1 or 2 more SoCon wins this season. However, if we are going to get only 1 this year, I'm glad it was against Furman!

I admittedly am not a soccer fan, but this is a great win-historically, the first time Furman has been beaten in conf play in years...and our first conf win since 2005?

Congrats to a great group...seems like the program is on the up and up!

The soccer team is playing much better. By and large, the defense is playing great; a little more firepower on offense and they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. They are playing like they can compete with anyone.
