That quick strike TD by Mercer makes one wonder how they forget our achilles! Quick outs and throwing under coverage kills Terriers.

On the play before the long Newman TD pass there could have been three fouls called-and two charged-against Mercer. 1)Targeting on the Newman hit 2) Facemask on the tackle 3) Hit out of bounds on the tackle after the play.
With Mosely out for us, our coaching staff needs to be heads up on hits to him. Our D needs to get tough and then we need to hammer the Mercer line with multiple backs.
Coach Ayers has got to be laughing. We are with 20 yards or so of 200 passing!

Real concerned that our coaching staff is not more aware of protecting Newman right now.

Without Mosely we really are with only one QB.

Furman just recovered a fumble for a TD and put Citadel away at the end. Our fate in the conference and really with the playoffs is dependent on our game next week. We all assumed that when the schedule was printed, so it is no surprise. If our defense can stand up to Samford we will win.

Hopefully Miller will be available next week. Weirick is out for the year so we need him for depth

I thought the video, radio and reception were best of the year this week. Noble is obviously working hard to get familiar with everything Wofford. Henson was probably swamped at Parent's Weekend, but it didn't show.
Am I the only one who thinks the ball spots this year have been very casual? The refs often miss by a yard or two, and it appears they are just approximating where the ball is out or the runner is down, as if it doesn't mean much. This goes both ways too.

+1
I've been guilty in the past few years of being a bit jittery about playing Mercer, thinking that they would (should, could) get better and be a force in the SoCon. Well, it hasn't happened! That was an old fashioned blow-out! Way to go Terriers.....now get 'em up coaches for the game of the year against Samford next week.....Go Terriers!!!

Entire game. Surprisingly it does not have the half time. Goes directly from end of first half to beginning of 2nd half. I thought for sure that the dedication of MA would be there. Disappointing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oF9NDrI3Bvg

watching IWF, I agree with the Noble assessment. Good to see he's improving. I believe in him!
