Wow, another struggle getting the game on both radio and TV. Finally on both, but missed a lot. On radio lots of modulation problems on pre-game. Can hardly hear some and ads blast you out! The TV broadcast appears to be a couple of minutes behind the radio; which is probably a couple of minutes behind real time.

Man, how frustrating to give up 10 points late in the half that were totally unnecessary. Bad coaching mistake not to sneak the ball out of the goal line-and to let anyone other than the most sure-handed players touch the ball. Sure, we got a bad call, but who is to blame for not having replay other than ourselves?

It seems like every time we are about to put them away, we do something bad.

BIG win for the Terriers. Like the way the team came back from that "thing" in Travelers Rest and played WOF football. Should stand us well for next weeks game with Mercer. Haven't looked at the stats yet, but I believe WOF matched total yard average today.....great job.....Go Terriers!

I'm glad we won, but what the hell was that? Why can't we run the ball under center? We didn't do it last week and we amazingly did it once this week then got a penalty and immediately went back to running it from deep in the backfield. Also, I'm glad we throw more, but why are we throwing on first down when we're up 20 and should be running clock? Lastly, that was some horrendous officiating.

Good win. You know what SUCKS worse than a loss? Losing and losing BOTH of your starting QBs and Clemson DB Trapp and possibly a RB or two.

Sorry. Had to vent. Lost TWO best freakin QBs

Stinks for any team (not just mine) bc takes you out of playoffs not due to play but rather due to injury.

Good job beating ETSU

That happened to us 2 years ago and we made the quarterfinals. We did have to burn a redshirt though.

Good effort by the defense today. ETSU is a much improved team from last year to this year, especially on defense. We aren't going to be able to hit them in the face with the run game like we did when we first rematched their program 2 years ago.

Offense was solid, and I agree with the criticisms about passing on first down in the fourth quarter up 20. I was nervous because of what ETSU did to Furman. Having said all that, it was a good day even if it was poorly officiated.

Big things going forward: Luke Carter sprained his ankle and Blake Morgan has a leg injury. Need these guys to heal up.

The one thing I think you can say Wofford has much better than any other team in the conference is team depth. We go pretty deep at seemingly all positions. These injuries suck but we have a next man up mentality. Luke Carter's injury may hurt us more than Blake Morgan, but hopefully both make it back to the field okay ASAP

Pretty good game overall today. I share concerns about getting away from what's working after we get ahead (more passes when we should be running). Also, Is it just me or does anyone else see that Miller runs the option so much better than Joe? He makes great reads, pitches, and so on. Joe has the big play potential - but so does Miller. I'd really like to see him get more PT.

Also, I just gotta say it's really hard to listen to Noble. Not only does he make mistakes in player names, down and distance, etc but he interrupts Thom almost every time he's about to add to the conversation. God I miss Hauser!!

From experience-the most important items in play by play are down and distance and clock. I spent most of the time not knowing any of these things. The TV doesn't show the down or distance, and you sure won't get it from Noble.
Mercer came back to win today and Western is showing a lot of talent. We have two tough games to play before the Samford game means anything.
It is disheartening to know that against the best conference teams we can't line up and get a yard when we need it. But maybe if we were to line up under center...
Not having replay today could have easily cost us this game.

Game Schedule is this...
Mercer Oct 27
@Sammy Nov 3
@Western Nov 10
Presbyterian Nov 17
A ton of Top 15 losses today also... That means seeding is still wide open for spots 4-8 the way I see it.
