Mulligan is in finally. And apparently that is all there is for the early signing, according to the tweet. https://twitter.com/WoffordTerriers/sta ... 3067576327

Seeing as we signed 18 and these are seemingly all the players we were recruiting. That may be everybody.

Awesome. Since we signed four wr’s, I would not be surprised to see Calvin Jackson get a shot at qb. He is a superior athlete who was also a very good qb and rb in high school.

In the press release Coach Conklin said these players will help us become more multiple on both sides of the ball, which leads me to believe we aren't done seeing our scheme evolution. Of course, I like it, but even if you don't you have to admit implementing such changes over the course of a couple years is a smarter strategy than throwing the baby out with the bath water like they did at Georgia Southern twice.

We made some real strides in throwing the ball this year and I would expect it to continue. I doubt these receivers would have signed if they hadn't been assured there will be more pass catching in the future.

Checking video and stats on these recruits, there are none who cause you to wonder what we saw in them. All were highly successful on their teams and in the classroom, and most had a number of other offers, including FBS offers. Very talented group, comparable to last year. A couple of the receivers look smallish, but they are very fast and quick, a bit like Van Cleave.

We filled the array of needs. Even though we lose some valuable seniors, we are still a relatively young team, and our overall talent level is high. No doubt some of these will step in and contribute as freshmen.

ld agreed on your assessment. Looking at each player I do not see one that is just an average player. All have the potential of becoming major contributors. I have looked at the list several times in an attempt to pick the best one but I can't do it. too many to choose from. But that is a good thing - having so many good options.

Power hurts, but speed kills. Maybe we are transitioning from an offense of "you know what's coming and you still can't stop it", to "you knew what was coming and it just blew past you for six". If this is the case then I am good with it. I think that's the first step to a more dynamic version of our offense.

I think you all got Tahir Anoor. Good get. His brother Aquil Anoor just graduated and was a great safety for us at Furman. All conference two years

My biggest concern when I read the signees' article is that 2 of the players sat out their senior years because of injuries. I know a lot of it depends on the injury, and healing process, but that scares me a bit.

And I hope I'm not sticking my foot in my mouth, but I haven't seen any Ruckus posts lately, neither under his old name nor his new. Hope all is well with him.
