I like Myers. Actually saw him score a couple of times against my Alma Mater in his highlight reel. NCS is a small school which plays against other small schools so the comp level is probably not great. That said...he looks really smooth. Great balance and tough to bring down. Even some small schools can still put out a strong talent occasionally.

Clark is also a nice back. I could see him as a FB in our scheme.

I am wondering how we manage all these offers? If we make an offer, how do we determine which one of these offers we pursue the hardest? Do we allow the first one that commits to be our guy? Is this the methodology that all schools are doing now? If we have offers out to 6 RBs, but can only take three, what happens if 3 commit first, then two more want to commit--This probably sounds a bit naive, but I am just not in tune with current recruiting practices. Any insight will help-- :D

That’s a great question. I don’t know for sure but I think it’s more of a feel thing. Almost like dating a girl. If we aren’t getting the strong vibe back, we probably aren’t in the mix.
I have heard we have conditioned at least one offer to a QB on the nonacceptance of another recruit who we offered first. I think this is honest and up front although none of these kids like to be the second choice/back up plan.
We are clearly doing things differently under JC re recruiting. Coaches I think are recruiting their position groups more than geographical areas. We are aggressively offering a greater number of kids earlier. Time will tell if we see benefits from it.
