I agree Ruck, Hammond has been fantastic. Particularly in that driving rainstorm game this year at ETSU I believe it was. Isn't he a senior next year? He does have one more year, correct? Sure hope so. Also hope the incoming LS can fill his shoes as he was very solid at his position. Honestly do not recall a bad snap from him. Footnote, his dad, State Secretary Mark Hammond, is such a nice guy and does a fantastic job.

U may be right about Hammond’s eligibility. I can only recall 1 or 2 poor snaps over his time. Unsung hero.

Just happen to stumble upon this about Collin Springer. He is 'ranked' 52 but out of what is that ranking ? over the entire country or just the state of SC ? It does not say and it would be nice to know the answer but I have no idea how to find the answer. His 'Player review' sounds great. I am encouraged by this https://rubiolongsnapping.com/player-ra ... layer=7578

Did some carousing and looks like I found my answer. and looks like he is ranked 52 over the entire country or at least out of all long snappers that use this rubio long snapping. whatever that means. look at where the players that are ranked above him are committed. large majority of them are FBS schools so apparently he is highly ranked. very encouraging https://rubiolongsnapping.com/player-ra ... ?year=2018

A potential preferred walk on candidate in 2018 class is QB Leo Albano from Bishop England High in Charleston. 6’2” 200. 3 sport letterman, multiple years Allstate and all region football. All time leading rusher and TDS at BE.
Top notch student: over 1400 on SAT/34 ACT, 5th in class, already accepted to Notre Dame and on the wait list at MIT. Leo is a finalist for the prestigious Richardson scholarship. I have heard the coaches really like him. Great kid.

Leo is a great kid and athlete. He would be a great addition if we can get him. I talked with his Dad last Sunday about Wofford and my experience.

We have a very late commit for ‘18 class.
RB Jamari Broussard from Atlantic Coast High in Jacksonville Fla. 5’11 210.
Had offers from UAB, Ohio U and SDSU. Not sure of his story but there seems to be one. Thought he was a Bobcat (Ohio) but now he is a Terrier. Committed his week. Originally from Beaufort area. FB in our offense. Glad we got him. Only played in 5 games this past season.
As a post script, I hope this means we haven’t lost another returning player.

Looks like to me that we have not lost any more players. Only change is that Spencer Alverson and Campbell Jackson are not juniors but seniors now. With the addition of Josh Scruggs as LS who is a R-fr. Looking forward to the upcoming season. GO TERRIERS !!!!!!!

Love Broussard ... tough to bring down, quick, compact, means business. Strong SAT. Good comp, so-so team.
