The Heart of a SHD....

There are things we discuss on this forum...and some things we are encouraged to stay away from. Injuries being one primary sticking point. Our staff is a close to the vest type staff that doesn't allow a lot of information and outside noise in regards to injuries. So often times most folks outside the program do not really understand how tough these young men REALLY are. I am linking an example from one of these great young men. Datavius Wilson....now his example is one of many of our Short Haired Dogs stories that we often times do not discuss. But seeing it in the media, I thought I would share to the board.

Didn’t realize last year’s injury was so significant.
Putting it all on the line for his team. Tough hombre.
God help the Bison.....

Great article on Datavious and great point by 19. Our guys are 100% committed to this. As fans, we are fully invested and think about Wofford football all the time, but these guys are living it in real time and all the good and bad that comes with that. I am constantly amazed by stories like this of the determination and fight in our players.

When I read this it brought to mind Dan Tavani playing on a torn ACL in 2007 for no other reason than that he was a senior and wanted to be out there with his teammates one more time.
