It's my understanding that the SEC championship game is usually played at like 4:30 and the ACC at night. Our game is at 2.

Seriously, we are SoCon champs who have fought tooth & nail all season grinding out exciting win after exciting win and are now one of the country's top seeds hosting a home playoff game against our our biggest rival....if our student body can't get up for this one....to quote the Godfather "they are dead to me."

I hope we don’t have another GSU-like situation on our hands Saturday. I hate to say it, but as it stands now it looks to me like there is more excitement on the FU side for this one than on ours.

Is there any local excitement for this in Spartanburg? What’s going on around the school to generate some excitement and bring people to the game. I’m so excited we are driving 8 hours to be there. Hard to believe there are so many in the city and campus that could care less!

All people seem to care about is Clemson unfortunately. I like Clemson too and I hope they win it all. But our TERRIERS also have a chance to win it all and this team deserves support too. I sometimes wonder if Wofford does a good enough job reaching out to the Spartanburg community at large because there seems to be a disconnect there at times.

the reasons students may not attend is if they don't know that tickets are $10, not free admission like they're used to. There's a good chance many of them may show up at the door not knowing this information, and being on a college budget, turned away.

I'm bringing my son down. He's too young to understand but I like the idea of him going to at least one Wofford playoff game every year of his life. Last year we went to Youngstown State with a 6 month old, this year we'll get to go to a warmer climate and see a win!

Wofford students are getting free admission to this one, thanks to the generosity of alumni, campus union and the wofford activities and recreation council.

I am not sure how they might do it, but this would be a great chance to grant free or greatly reduced admission to the entire Spartanburg community. Maybe local merchants could get involved ... e.g., free sandwich with a ticket stub, for a Wofford victory.

Need some help. We’ve never actually been prepared enough to set up and tailgate at a Wofford game! Can someone give me some direction on where to set up etc? Will the kids area be set up with bounce houses and such? My 5 year old is super excited to come to a game where her daddy played so want her to have a fun time ha ha
