I'm probably not as proficient as you guys are at the podcasting thing, but I think there is a way to get better audio over the phone for interviews.

It may have something to do with recording the audio on both ends, but I'm not sure.

Setting up a Skype call or Google Hangouts or some other VOIP service should get you a better audio quality as well, assuming your guest is able to use that service as well.

Thanks for the input guys. We're still trying to tweak some things with the audio. We apologize for the different sound qualities for the interviews. I'm going to look into different and more efficient ways of recording calls or interviews for sure.

I think some of the pros use garage band or something on both sides with mics and it records better audio but I could be wrong. It's probably googleable and it may or may not be in your budget.
