I think the most likely outcome, based upon what I've seen of both teams is Wofford winning in the 20-10 or 24-14 area. It's going to be a tough, close game for four quarters, and when the game is at that margin, anyone could lose (just look what happened last year)

If we lose, we're not where we need to be as a football team (still Socon championship caliber, technically, but still need to do more)

If we win by the margin I described, we're still at a good level.

If we somehow manage a blow out and win by 3 + scores, we're getting better as a football team. I don't think that's likely, but I've been pleasantly surprised by our performances in Charleston in the past (2009 and 2011 come to mind).

Should be a good game. Go Terriers!

I read that El Cid’s primary issues have been a young/inexperienced OL and turnovers. I’m sure they have been preaching ball control and reinforced blocking assignments over the last several weeeks. Also, with our schemes being so similar, one would think that playing against us would be much more familiar than perhaps other defensive schemes opponents have thrown at them thus far. One of our strengths is definitely our DL, but I’ve been a bit surprised that we haven’t been able to put much pressure on opposing QBs, much less dominate anyone yet. Will be interesting to see how early/often our DC turns our big dogs loose tomorrow night.

Remember the last time we met it was 3-3 for ¾ of the game so I’m not expecting a high scoring affair this time around either. Maybe 14-10 Terriers?

Cid has won 13 of their last 17, and are working on getting better. We need to get better too. http://www.postandcourier.com/sports/on ... e3d9c.html

Citadel's offensive problems and propensity for turnovers is part of the reason I think we win this one by a couple scores. Their offense isn't as good as it was last year. I've no idea how good their defense is but I'm confident our offense is better than last year

To get an idea how they are playing I watched their game with Mercer. Cit fumbled 6 or 7 times loosing it i think 5 times. and at least one other should have been a fumble but they were very lucky that it was not. But it was still a hard fought game and no doubt tomorrow will be much the same as far as the hard knocks are concerned. If we take care of the ball then I like our chances.

This is a game for us to accentuate who we are as a football team. PLay Hard nosed, gritty, Wofford football. Protect the ball, establish the LOS, keep them off balance with some play calling, and force turnovers. I love our group and tomorrow is the next opportunity in front of us. Seize the day, conquer and prevail, and get after em SHort HAired Dogs........(Coach Ayers Voice....GO DOOOOOOGGSSSS!!!!!)

There will be no problem getting up for this game either as there is no love between these squads so I imagine to see some inspired play on both sides of the ball!

We welcome fans to Wofford with $10 parking that is closer than upper level Terrier Club donor spaces (which is a joke) and every time I come to historically crappy JHS there is a long walk, dirt or mud parking and now increased to $15 for a 10 min stroll. What a dump. Sad when a port a jon is a nicer option than a 100 year old piss wall.
Go Terriers! Whip the bellhops!

Two of the first three plays were passes. And then we punt.

second and long pass plays are bad. so bad that I'm tempted to go back and just log how many times this year it's been unsuccessful
