Analyzing has been and will be a part of all sports but the simple fact is that football games are won at the line of scrimmage, blocking your man, beating your man, winning more downs than the opponent and taking care of the ball.
If we do these things on any Saturday then we'll have a chance at the end against anyone.
I do think that this team has under performed and is ready to show how good they can be.
Western is strong but certainly not a team we cannot beat as long as we don't beat ourselves.

Moneyball- Like it. It would be very much like Wofford to use the brains to win where possible. Good job YT. Now find someone in the football program to listen.

It appears that WCU has an effective and balanced offense, and capable defense. We will need to execute our best and make a minimum of mistakes. Need to play a little loose and with confidence too. If we focus and play as we are capable, I very much like our chances.

This game will be a challenge on both sides of the ball. Still waiting to see a complete game from this team. If we can limit turning the ball over and costly penalties we should come out on top. There is something about a team that finds a way to win regardles of the situation. Getting off to a fast start would be great but as this season has shown you can't count this team out until the final whistle.
