I don't think there will be issues playing the game, I just hope we have a good plan for getting the team back to Sparkle City before the storm arrives. With evacuees possibly still on the road, it may be a very difficult bus trip back.

We all know that Bobby Lamb teams have always played our offense tough--but I also know, that we are pretty knowledgeable about how they have schemed us in the past--So, I think how we perform from the start will perhaps tell the tale of our offensive ability, unless they do something unexpected--What may be the difference is how well we defense their offense--I think their RS freshman QB is damn good--Hope we can bring a lot of pressure--Would like to see a lot of defensive "games" with the idea of getting someone free on the QB--Which means some man to man coverage--

Oak,

Each and every Saturday we know how tough our conference can be and is. So this week is certainly another tough road game. And an important one. But as I have felt for some time, this was always our year to cement Wofford atop the SoCon, and nothing that I have seen sways my opinion. We are a legit national title contender, and we are seasoned and experienced and well versed to handle adversity. I look at these tough games as showcase opportunities for us to display exactly who we are.

We have one of if not the best Defensive lines in the country. And at the end of the day, if we control the lines of scrimmage, we are going to be in a great spot to win each and every game we play. I love our athletes on both sides of the ball, and I love that we have paid the dues and put in the work to be successful. We have earned the rites to be proud and confident. This is no facade.

WE are a bonafide, legit SoCon Power. And nothing has been given to us, it has all been earned and galvanized through the fires.

we are prepared and ready to rock. You cannot manage results, only the activities and preparation. We are very well prepared.

I like us in every game we play and this one is no different.

GO TERRIERS

I hate to play up our hype but we have beaten Bobby Lamb 6 of the last 7 times we've played

There is absolutely no crim in being confident in your team and thinking you will win! And we definitely are the favorites going into this one!

Mercer up 7-0 (had a good kickoff return)

they got us off the field and have the ball on our side of the field.

And before you ask, ESPN3 is bad for everyone

The crime is thinking all you have to do is show up to win. So far this season we have been poor on both sides of the line. This team, at this time, is VERY overrated.

it is mindnumbingly stupid for us to pass on first down

No one thinks that they just show up and win..........anywhere. Getting outcoached and played.......WHOLE 2nd half to get it right....

In the first half we ran 26 plays and got 126 yards.

Stoddard and Nelson are both averaging 10 yards a carry (60ish yards) , but together have only 6 carries.

Meanwhile Goodson has thrown the ball 4 times. When was the last time we ran the dive play for only 2 plays more than passes in a half?

Need to establish ourselves on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Need to settle down and establish the run, and get back to Wofford football. We are playing on our heels on both sides of the ball and really its been 2 weeks in a row that the opponent has taken the fight to us. Now, we are plenty equipped to get it right, but we need to take this initial drive and shove it right down their throat and let it be known what our intentions are.
